Johnny Golden ( aka John Ashton Golden, JAG), is the owner and operator of Mortal Mirror Studio. John’s also a freelance illustrator, graphic designer, comics creator, musician, and all around creative, currently living in Chicago, IL. He graduated from RIT in 2001 majoring in Illustration and minoring in Graphic Design and Creative Writing.
As John likes to say, he’s been an artist since he could first ham-fist a crayon, and is constantly seek new forms of expression, exploration, and communication through his work. And it’s in the spirit that John came to the project in its early stages to help develop concept sketches based on the initial youth collaborations, which continues today (most recently in Issue 2 of the Made Collaborative series).
